On Saturday April 5, 2014, Lebanon County YAP participated in the 35th Annual Children’s Festival at the Lebanon Valley Mall. The event was sponsored by Lebanon Valley Association for the Education of Young Children (LVAEYC). Over 20 participating area agencies and more than 300 children were in attendance!
It was a free, fun-filled day for all of the children. There were various activities created by daycares, preschools, agencies and businesses throughout the Lebanon Valley Mall. Some of the activities included making buttons, lady bugs, hand rainbows, and pet rocks.
Lebanon County YAP was represented by the Early Intervention Program and Family Based Mental Health Services. Ashley Noll, David Faehling and Staci Shupp enjoyed helping the children make pet rocks and interacting with parents to promote all Lebanon County programs. We received positive feedback from parents and children about the art project and about our agency! The families loved the candy, pens, and especially the t-shirts, courtesy of YAP.
