YAP Saving Taxpayers Money in Lebanon, PA

Harris County Advocate Program and YES Waiver Program collaborated to provide a “Back to School Bash” for their local community.  The event was a big success.  Youth gained additional knowledge on conflict resolution for the school year, alcohol prevention, positive affirmations, social skills, and anxiety management techniques.  Advocates engaged their young people in various activities and really supported the excitement of starting another school year. YAP hosted a table at Project Self-Sufficiency's annual Back to School Fair to distribute information about the Outpatient program in Morris/Sussex county. We also raffled off a $10.00 gift card to Stop and Shop.  Representative Theresa Gallagher spoke to about 75-100 families, including parents of some YAP graduates.  They had nothing but praise for YAP's services.To learn more about the Back to School fair, read this article from the New Jersey Herald.
