Youth Advocate Programs has been serving youth and families in Alabama since 2010. Beginning initially with one program in Mobile and expanding to four counties in North and South Alabama, high risk youth referred from Juvenile Justice, Child Welfare and Education agencies are constantly being provided with high fidelity wraparound services that assist in empowering families to utilize their strengths, accept their challenges and to give back to their communities.
Youth Advocate Programs was recommended by the Alabama State Department of Education to present YAP’s Truancy Program at the 2014 Department of Education MEGA Conference entitled: ‘Plan 2020--Every Child A Graduate ~ Every Graduate Prepared for College/Work/Adulthood in the 21st Century.’
