Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. (YAPInc) has operated programs in South Carolina since 2004 and is a Qualified Provider of Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services (RBHS) in South Carolina and enrolled in Medicaid.
We offer a continuum of behavioral health services to children and families working with the Departments of Social Services, Juvenile Justice, Education, Disability and Special Needs and Mental Health, including South Carolina's Continuum of Care.
We are also an approved provider for PRTF Alternative CHANCE (Children's Health Access in Community Environments) Waiver, a Medicaid waiver project in South Carolina designed to serve the needs of seriously emotionally disturbed children (ages 4-19) and their families.
Referrals can be initiated by a multitude of social services agencies as well as school personnel, doctors, social workers or individual families. Upon receipt of referral and completion of assessment/intake, the child and family will begin service in accordance with state regulations governing behavioral health services.
