Services Available
PREVENTION SERVICES - CINS/FINS
We serve youth between the ages of 6 and 17 who have not been adjudicated delinquent, and are not currently under the supervision of the Department of Children and Families. We partner with Court Diversion Program, Hillsborough County Schools, Department of Juvenile Justice, and many other community organizations to offer the family a continuum of service through our wrapround model.
STOP NOW AND PLAN (SNAP)
SNAP is an evidence– based cognitive-behavioral model that was developed by the Child Development Institute. YAP utilizes this intervention to help children and their parents learn how to effectively manage their emotions and ‘keep problems small.’ Activities include discussions, role-playing and interactive games and topics on dealing with angry thoughts and feeling, self-control, problem solving, bullying, etc.
PROBATION/DOMESTIC VIOLENCE RESPITE
A 10 week program for youth that have been charged with Domestic Violence and/or are currently on probation. We utilize an evidence based curriculum delivered in an individual or group setting to improve the youth’s life skills.
