Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. (YAP) offers a skills-based Outpatient Program to address the needs of clients who require treatment that is available through outpatient providers, but do not require an acute, impatient level of care. The goal of the service is to provide information and new skills that will allow an individual to manage problems and difficulties in life more effectively.

• Treats clients 6 to 18 years of age with a mental health concern including Mood Disorders (Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder), Anxiety Disorders, and Schizophrenia, among other behavioral health difficulties.
• Participants can attend weekly skills-based groups (CBT).
• Weekly individual meetings with clinician.

LENGTH OF TREATMENT

• Most participants attend once a week
• Average length of outpatient treatment is 10-15 weeks

STAFF

• Services are provided by trained and experienced Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, and Mental Health Counselors

INSURANCE & MANAGED CARE

• We accept Medicaid
