YAP has been invited to represent the United States at the Street Soccer America Cup in May. Street Soccer America Cup is an international event that brings youth delegations from around the world for a cultural exchange, leadership workshops and a street soccer tournament. Organized by FuDE (Fundación Fútbol para el Desarrollo) and Movimiento de Futbol Callejero (Street Soccer Movement) with the support of the City of Buenos Aires, the event is built around the goals of peace-building, collaboration, non-violent resolution of conflict, respect and solidarity. Youth from the YAP community representing the southwest, southeast and northeast regions of the United States are preparing for this week-long youth exchange, including fundraising.
