Assistant Director Cindy Allen hosted a meeting with the program's families where they discussed important life skills.  They discussed the importance of changing smoke detector batteries, weatherization tips, HEAP applications, and managing anger in children.  They also taught participants how to make soup from common ingredients that most people have leftoever in their pantries.
