YAP’s ASSET Program – Autism and Development Disabilities Services Supports Education and Training – promotes our approach to supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities. The mission of the ASSET program is to empower individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities to access opportunities and develop skills to realize independence, help them contribute to society, and be valued assets in their communities.
“We are so grateful that the Eagle Riders has chosen YAP’s ASSET Program as the beneficiary of their Rock and Roll for Autism event,” said Robert Witt, Program Director for Adams and York YAP Programs. “The dollars raised will be used to directly benefit the people in our Adams County YAP ASSET Program, where we promote not only access to opportunities, but also inclusion for the people we serve. This is a great opportunity for the community to come together in support of people with intellectual disabilities in Adams County.”
If you cannot attend, but still would like to donate to the cause, use this donation letter. All donations made to the Eagle Riders in support of this event are tax deductible. The Eagle Riders and YAP encourage all who are interested to attend.
