Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. supports, cares for, organizes and empowers the most vulnerable and marginalized young people, adults and families in the US and abroad. By tapping into the strengths and capabilities of the 19,000 families we serve each year, our 2,000+ YAP staff members, and the capacity of communities, YAP affects positive change.
YAP currently has programs in 26 states and the District of Columbia, and serves 25 major US cities as well as dozens of other urban, suburban and rural communities. We have also developed and supported community-based programs in Ireland, Scotland, Guatemala and Sierra Leone.
YAP contracts the purchase of its consumable office commodities. Its current vendor is Guernsey Office Products and the contract ends August 2019. YAP is seeking bids to renew this contract via a sealed bid process. Attached is a breakdown of YAP’s spending, by category, over the last 3 years, as well as a list of currently contracted products. Bids will be opened publicly on September 2nd at 12 pm. The main determining factors in our award of this contract will pricing and length of pricing guarantees.
