Baltimore YAP Thankful for the Opportunity to Serve

For the Baltimore YAP (BYAP) and the Safe Streets team, Thanksgiving has been an opportunity to serve youth, families and the broader community. With the help of local community partners, BYAP provided two dozen turkeys to families throughout Baltimore City. The team received donations from local groups and small businesses. Program Coordinator Chasity Dorsey spent rounded up the turkeys and Assistant Director Christopher Campbell alongside YAP Advocates delivered turkeys to all the families in need. 

Donors were form the Baltimore community, including  The Fading Theory Barbershop, Memsahib Indian restaurant, The Olive Group contractors, and second year donors Nephilim MC.  Rosie's Little Angels owner Rosetta Long has supported YAP's efforts for more than 8 years. Individuals donations came from a host of city residents.

“In essence we are most grateful for the opportunity to assist our families this holiday season,” said Baltimore YAP Program Director Eddie Moore.
