Gary Ivory, YAP's President of the Southwest Programs and National Director of Program Development, presented testimony in Detroit April 23 before US Attorney General Eric Holder's Defending Childhood Initiative's Task Force on Children Exposed to Trauma. Mr. Ivory testified about the need to invest in successful programs that utilize community resources to reconnect youth to trusting adults, families and communities, helping youth recover from trauma.
